I can't sleep again. Know why?
I just bought a new pair of shoes. Clean, shiny, metallic blue-green Asics shoes. Have you seen anything as beautiful as this? The comfort and fit of sneakers combined with the traction of cleats. I've just bought this pair of shoes; I can die happy now.
OH MY GOD I CAN'T WAIT TO WEAR THEM!
I can barely sit still. I want to switch on the daylight, grab a disc and take them out for a test run RIGHT NOW.
Tomorrow, I will attempt to cook chickpea curry (with potatoes and eggplant, just because I have them sitting around sprouting shoots or getting soft). In fact, said chickpeas are soaking overnight now in a bowl. Overnight preparation, man. How professional is that?
It's going to be a bit of an experiment, this curry. One can only hope it comes out edible. If it doesn't, there is, thankfully, the Moroccan Soup Bar on Thursday.
